Bringing Halloween to the Fisher House with Pumpkin Carving

The Fisher House common room got a little festive this Halloween when volunteers joined resident veteran families for a pumpkin carving afternoon. Pumpkins, decorating kits, and good company — a simple way to mark the holiday and make the House feel a little more like home.

Moments like this matter. For families in the middle of a long and difficult stretch, an afternoon doing something ordinary and fun is exactly the kind of break that helps. Thank you to the volunteers who showed up and made it happen.
