Harleston Village Association Serves Fajita Night at the Fisher House
June 25, 2026

The Harleston Village Association’s Heart & Hands Committee returned to the Charleston Fisher House on June 10 to prepare and serve a home-cooked dinner for the veteran families staying at the House.
The menu: chicken and beef fajitas, corn, tomato, and avocado salad, Mexican rice, black bean dip with chips, and pudding with fruit for dessert. Volunteers of all ages pitched in, with some of the committee’s youngest helpers lending a hand in the kitchen.
A dinner like this takes many hands — the donors who contributed, the volunteers who cooked and served, and everyone who helped organize the evening. It’s the association’s second meal at the House this year, following their April dinner, and we’re grateful for their continued friendship.
